Facility
Locating church facilities is an extremely difficult task for most churches in today’s economy. Salisbury Bible Fellowship met for seven years at Parkside High School, after outgrowing our previous facility. When we began to look for permanent facilities that could house our growing church, we found the former Layton’s/Net’s Indoor Soccer facility to be a perfect location.
Conveniently located one block from Rt 13, and one block south of Salisbury University, it's easily accessible to all. To fulfill our dream, the church came up with an innovative plan, - to use a third of the building to open a self-storage business whose sole purpose was to help pay the mortgage for the property so we could renovate the rest of the building to house our ministries and grow.
Using primarily volunteer labor from within our congregation, we did most of the renovations ourselves.
Pine Bluff Self Storage opened in May of 2007, and our church moved to our new facility in November 2007. We are presently in phase one of our plans for the church, with engaging environments for nursery, preschool, children, and students.
